- Gauguin Museum
Gauguin Museum is a museum where you can see copies, reproductions, sculptures, lifestory and the replica of Gauguin%u2019s house in the Marquises Island.
- Lagoonarium
Lagoonarium is a place where you can see under the lagoon without getting wet.
You will see thru big panoramic windows glasses: sharks, fish and other sea creatures in their natural habitat.
- Ferns Grotto
Grotto of Maraa is a cave where the French painter Paul Gauguin swam in a cold water dripping from the ceiling of the cave. It%u2019s also a nice place where you can walk thru.
There is a beautiful garden of multi-colored flowers and trees which a guide will tell you all about it.
- Blow Hole
Blow hole is a cave under the road which sprouts like a geyser when the waves gets in it.
You can see surfers riding on the waves on the good days and you can also collect some black sand.
- Lookout Panoramic View
Taharaa panoramic view point is a place where you can observe the beautiful view of downtown Papeete and Moorea island on the background.
On the afternoon tour, you can see the breathtaken beautiful sunset from that point on a good day, many postcards have been made from this point of view.
- Grand Waterfall
Vaimahuta great waterfall is about 150 feet tall and it is located in Tefaaruumai valley.
It is a few minutes walking, no hiking, no swimming and really worth to see.
This is one of the hightlight of the tour where they made a lot of postcards.
