Pension Vanille

Our location in the northern part of Huahine puts you can in proximity to all the activities and tourist attractions of the Island. Only 1 mile from here you can enjoy a superb white sand beach and underwater coral gardens. The main town Fare (a small but bustling center) offers shops, an outdoor market and fishing boats, all just 1.8 km away. The use of traditional polynesian materials in the construction of our bungalows, their tasteful well appointed interiors, and their setting surrounded by magnificent tropical gardens, combine to create a place of comfort and intimacy. The pension is comprised of 5 polynesian style bungalos for 2,3 or 4 people. The roofs are made from plaited coconut palms, the interiors features a tropical theme, and they each have a deck. They are set around a swimming pool, which adjoins our restaurant, where we offer you the choice of "half board" or "a la carte".

The windows in the bungalows have mosquito nets installed. Each bungalow is baptized with the name of tropical fish. They each have a private bathroom with hot water and a deck.

A spacious polynesian "main fare" sits next to the swimming pool waiting to welcome you with delightful meals : "demi-pension" (halfboard) or "a la carte" from our tantalizing menu. At the entrance to the foyer "fare" is a foyer for reading and relaxation, where you will find literature about the Island. During your stay with us, the "demi-pension" menu introduce you to succulent polynesian dishes, which the lady of the house embellishes with her personal touch. The "demi-pension" includes a continental breakfast with tropical fruits, and a full dinner with dessert. During your stay the lady of the house will let you discovered the local favour, and you never gone have the same menu. Besides the traditional side dishes of rice and greens, you can sample the local vegetables. Our dessert are also mostly confectionned from local products, like papaye flan, banana cake, crepes stuffed with locally made ice cream.
