Hotel Matira Beach sits in the heart of popular Matira Beach, one of the few public access beaches in Bora Bora and a great spot for water activities. A great holiday location but if you are after pampering and privacy, this may not be for you. The Hotel Matira is a moderatly priced hotel. It is located just down the road from the Hotel Bora Bora, right next door to the InterContinental on the Matira Point and conveniently located near Bora Diving Center
The no-thrills small and friendly hotel has spacious bungalows and offers excellent value for money. The interiors of the bungalows are done in beautiful woods with crisp white bedcovers. A unique aspect about the hotel is that the restaurant/bar is down the street from the bungalows.Also note there is no air conditioning in these bungalows but there are ceiling fans and mosquito nets which really do suffice.
Nearby the Matira restaurant, proposes you a delicious local and Asian cuisine as well as 3 types of breakfasts: classic, continental or American. A bar is also at your disposal.

Wife and I have stayed here twice. we sat on the deck listening to the surf with with a book (which i never do), looked at the water, or got in the water. it's very clean, very affordable, very no frills, no sales pitch for your next franc, very friendly, and we'll stay here again if we ever go back to Bora Bora.
