Intercontinental Moorea Resort & Spa

Close to Opunohu Bay on the northeast coast of the island, sheltered from the prevailing winds, the Intercontinental Resort and Spa Moorea is located between mountains and lagoon. The 17 Garden Suite Bungalows, the 50 Overwater and 28 Beach Suite Bungalows, as well as the 48 Garden View Rooms, are all decorated with the concern of combining respect for local traditions with non-conspicuous contemporary luxury. Noble woods and natural materials were elegantly used in the decor. These include parquet or bamboo, Méranti of Indonesia partitions, mahogany and wicker furniture and natural colored wall coverings.

The furniture of distinguished and original lines, as well as objects made from Tahitian arts and crafts, (paintings, tapas...) compose a refined and harmonious ensemble and reinforce the Polynesian identity of this dream hotel.

Fare Nui presents three times a week traditional Polynesian show,

• On Wednesday, Barbecur Night: barbecue buffet and various accompaniments,
• On Saturday, Marvelous Evening: seafood buffet accompanied by a superb Polynesian show and fire dancing.

At the Fare Hana restaurant, whether dining inside or on the terrace enjoy light plates, classic International cuisine and delicious Polynesian plates.

Intercontinental resort and spa Moorea besides classic island excursions and wide choice of nautical activities, offers original activities such as the famous  "Moorea Dolphin Center", an incredible aquatic park where guests can swim and play with Hina, Lokahi and Kuokoa, 3 bottlenose  dolphins.
