Motu Fareone on which Villa Corallina is located, is a stunning little island inlaid like a green jewel into crystal-clear, turquoise waters of Moorea's famous lagoon, just across the channel from the main island of Moorea that offers a haven of peace and intimacy.

Motu Fareone is not just any resort. It is a private island where the owners live and rent out just that single Villa to their lucky guests. So don't go expecting restaurants, swimming pools, shopping malls, discos or loud motors sports here - you just won't get any. There are no roads here, only coconut groves, white coral's sand beaches, sunsets that set fire to endless horizons and marine worlds too spectacular to capture in words. Villa overview

Villa Corallina accommodates up to 7 guests and it is rented to only one party at a time, so guests enjoy the ultimate in privacy.

There are 3,000 sq.ft. built in the most beautiful exotic woods and in typical Tahitian style with wide open beams and large curtains instead of doors, exquisitely designed and furnished with Tahitian artefacts, local art, native timbers and personal touches combine to create a haven of style and comfort.

The spacious main house features a large open plan lounge, entertainment and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, office, one bedroom at the first floor with spectacular views overlooking the lagoon and the reef, one bathroom.

A separate master suite bedroom with bathroom, ocean front, is located close by. This retreat is for those that truly want to escape, relax and indulge in your private haven, free to make your own choices and to enjoy the relaxed informality of this special location.

The Condé Nast Traveller Magazine (November 2004) wrote ".. It is difficult to imagine a more idyllic setting than that enjoyed by Villa Corallina".

Interior overview

The refined decoration is created entirely by hand, mainly from local bamboo. The "tiki" sculptures, the "tapa" paintings from the Marquesas islands, the mother-of-pearl and coral ornaments are all inspired by the theme of the ocean.
Every detail is the result of a search for perfect harmony giving to the guest a pleasing impression of family intimacy. Villa Corallina is a smoke free environment. It is fully equipped and has every home comfort you could need.

We have thought of everything to make sure that our guests feel like at home here. The rooms are laid-out and designed with the utmost care, using only hardwoods and quality materials, the exterior and interior walls are lined with bamboo mats.
Amenities include : bed and bath-linens, TV by satellite, LCD flat screen TV/DVD system, CD player, ceiling-fans, kayak, outrigger, kitchen fully equipped with all major appliances, dishes, utensils and cooking necessities.

Bedrooms

There are two separate bedrooms.
One is located on the upper level of the main house, enjoying a spectacular lagoon view. It includes a queen-size bed, a sofa bed, ceiling-fan, mosquito-screen at the window.
The furniture is in rattan and bamboo.
Its bathroom is just underneath. The master bedroom suite is located in a 750 square-feet separate bungalow, ocean-front, just a few steps from the main house.

It offer a king-size tester bed with mosquito net, TV, CD player, ceiling-fan, a panoramic internal loggia with a sofa, an outdoor covered veranda, a private bathroom with double washbasin, interior and outdoor showers.
The furniture is in rattan and bamboo. The main house with the master bedroom suite accommodates up to 5 people very comfortably.
Upon request, a separate cottage garden side is available, which accommodates 2 more people.

Over-beach terrace

A spectacular outdoor terrace in deck wood with a fire place, overlooks the beach and the lagoon.

It is nestled among ancient tropical pines-trees and coconut palms above your own private beach and a pristine lagoon. No noise other than the wind through the palms and the waves, no worries other than what to drink as an aperitif, no strategic decision to take other than what to eat for dinner ...
Here you will discover the idyllic bliss of your own island paradise and romantic dinners and evenings under the stars : it's impossible not to discover a sense of romance.

Garden cottage

This intimate, comfortable and completely independent cottage sits in its own private garden and is located in the interior of the property. It's perfect for a young couple. Views of nature will surround you. Outside you will appreciate the tranquillity of the garden with its flowering tropical plants. The fully equipped 550 square feet, bungalow is comprised of one bedroom (king-size bed), closet, small kitchen (4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge, separate freezer, sink, dish-dresser), ensuite bathroom with shower unit (hot water), double door opening to covered veranda with living/dining areas.

Onsite amenities : ceiling-fans, radio stereo CD and Tape player, TV with DVD-player, bed-linens, bath-linens, mosquito screens, outdoor dining-table with parasol. Your private beach is only steps away. This Cottage can be rented alone or in addition to the main villa, if requested.

Beautiful lagoon

The lagoon surrounding Villa Corallina is a stunning tropical aquarium, filled with a multitude of multicoloured fish and corals of all shapes and sizes, right at your doorstep.

An immense and calm natural swimming pool of crystal-clear turquoise and shallow waters, as a natural playground for anyone interested in fishing, snorkelling, kayaking, canoeing and scuba diving.

An array of dive sites await, ranging from coral heads to 60 foot walls and crevices suitable for both novice and experienced divers.
