The French Chef Térence was trained and worked with talented Michelin-stared Chefs, experiencing various type of Cuisine. He has no added his signature, offering a fresh and stylish touch to the restaurant. Because indulging oneself when dinning is a priority, his cuisine, a subtle mix of Polynésian and Mediterranean savors, varies for every moment and every wish.

Enhanced with local and "house" specialties, such as Mango Marmalade, Vanilla Yogurt with locally produced vanilla, fresh tropical fruit salad prepared by our master chef, fresh croissants and bread, fresh homemade cakes and jams, omelet or any style eggs, a selection of cereals, tea and coffee.

Lunch on the beach...
Facing the lagoon, light refreshing fare, served by our Tahitian Lovelies in traditional gay floral print dresses. Lunches include a large selection of fresh salads, grilled fish and meat, sandwiches, marinated fish or fish tartar, desserts.

Our gourmet dinner...
In the evening, the restaurant offers refined and romantic candlelight dinners. The Art of combining savors and ingredients offers delicious and original dishes that will treat the most refined palates. Sublimed with an excellent wine list, our "table" has earned it distinction and reputation. We offer a different menu every night, taking into consideration your special diet and requirements. Beach Boy for Entertaining our Clients
Starting after breakfast, there are two or three activities per day, including snorkeling, a tour of the reef, coconut show. Our Beach Boy is fully available to make sure our clients are happy, busy and safe in the water.

Our staff has organized special activities which will allow you to discover the wonder of the island of Tahaa, by land or by sea:

• Boat transfers to Raiatea and Tahaa
• Snorkeling on a motu in a motorized pirogue
• Lagoon tour and picnic on a «Motu» by motor pirogue
• Pearl Farm visit
• Small motor boats for private tours around the lagoon (2 to 4 persons)
• MASSAGE Every afternoon (2-5:30 pm) Aches, stress, relaxation or simple pleasure %u2013 Monoï or Tamanu oils massages. On the deck of your bungalow, in the coconut grove, or on the beach - it's up to you.
• MOTOR BOAT RENTAL (without permit %u2013 4.5 CC)
• LAGOON BOAT FISHING (all types : angle, reef, early morning)
• CORAL GARDEN SNORKELING in a remote coral garden, motorized pirogue transportation
• VANILLA PLANTATION VISIT: Do you enjoy the flavor and scent of vanilla? Tahaa produces 70-80% of all French Polynesia's vanilla. Because of the pervasive aroma of vanilla and its green scenery, Tahaa is known as the "Vanilla Island".
• PEARL OYSTER FARM VISIT: Are you interested in pearls? Tahaa lagoon pearls are of exceptional quality. Discover a real farm with grafter, workers, on a lagoon pontoon giving you the secrets of the famous Tahitian black pearl.
• ROBINSON CRUSOE / PICNIC on a MOTU: Depart on a motorized pirogue (11am-3pm) to a remote island, on the coral reef for picnic lunch, close to a natural coral garden.

"Cast Away" Picnic for the adventurer:
Rent a little motor boat (no license necessary) with a picnic included and go out and explore the lagoon and its "motus" (small barrier islands). We will point out some of the most magnificent spots for snorkeling, where you can see: stingrays, leopard rays or eagle rays or maybe you will get lucky and cross paths with a sea turtle.

Internet Access
VAHINE ISLAND offers a WI-FI connection in the bar, restaurant and on the beach. You can find at the reception a free laptop at disposal. No access code requested. Every room is equipped with free Ethernet cable (RJ45).
Please note that Polynesia has a slower internet connection than you may be used to - maximum speed 15 Ko.
