1. Rates

• Rates published on our Internet site are in euros, all taxes included.
• Quotations from our travel agents are in euros, all taxes included.
• Quotations are valid one month depending upon availability at time of reservation.
• A visitors tax of 150 xpf or 1.25 euros per person per night will be payable by the customer directly to the hotel.

2. Reservation / Deposits

• No reservation will be effective without deposit.
• Only the reception of a signed and completed deposit form will serve as a confirmation.
• All services will be reserved upon reception of deposit. Tahiti Cruise and Vacation will verify availability before cashing the deposit.
• Deposits will be calculated as follows:
  • Reservation more than 30 days in advance: The total of all airline tickets + 10% of all onshore services.
  • Reservation less than 30 days: Total price of voyage.
• Tahiti Cruise and Vacation reserves the right to modify the amount of deposit due to certain service providers pricing policies.

3. Payment of balance / Final payment

• The balance of payment will be due, at the latest, 30 days before the beginning of the voyage.
• Late payment of balance will nullify all reservations without reimbursement of prior deposits.

4. Reservation modifications

• Any change to confirmed itineraries will be subject to the following cancellation conditions (see 5): date changes, changing the duration of the voyage, the number of passengers, changing hotels, airline changes, etc...
• For additional services added to a confirmed voyage, the changes will be priced at cost, with no surcharge except in the cases mentioned above.

5. Cancellation / Reimbursement

• Any request for cancellation must be in writing.
• By e-mail to contact@tahiti-and-vacation.com or by fax to (00 689) 42 83 83.
• Confirmation of reception will be returned by a representative of Tahiti Cruise and Vacation not later than one day after notification of cancellation.
• If confirmation of reception is not received in one day please contact us at (689) 50 57 94.
• Before departure cancellation charges:
  • More than 30 days before your arrival: Cancellation charge is 20 euros per person with a maximum of 50 euros per group.
  • From 30 days to 15 days: 50% of total cost of your voyage.
  • From 14 days to 7 days: 75% of total cost of your voyage.
  • Less than 7 days: 100% of total cost of your voyage.
• Failure to appear and cancellation after departure: 100% of your voyage.
• Additional expenses associated with modification or cancellation during the voyage will be the customer's responsibility.

6. Insurance

No traveler's insurance or cancellation insurance is included with voyages provided by Tahiti Cruise and Vacation. We highly recommend that you secure such at the purchase of your voyage.

7. Lodging

In accordance with international hotel regulations, rooms are available to customers at 2 p.m. and should be vacated before noon. Each hotel reserves the right to modify these hours. Customers may be charged for an extra night in case of requests outside of these hours.

8. Airlines

• Airline tickets reserved but not issued are subject to any applicable fuel surcharges and airport tax increases demanded by the airline.
• In case of cancellation, modification or failure to appear, Tahiti Cruise and Vacation will apply the conditions and penalties demanded by the airline.

9. Passenger responsibilities

• Every passenger should have a valid passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months after the date of return.
• Since October 2004, the United States require optically readable passports for entry to or transit through their territory. Individual passports are also required for infants regardless of their age for entry to or transit through the United States.
• Warning: If your passport was issued after October 26, 2005 it needs to be biometric. Otherwise a transit visa will be demanded for stopovers in the United States.
• In no case will Tahiti Cruise and Vacation be held responsible for costs and expenses or compensations caused by the lack of a valid passport and/or visa as required by French law, or the refusal of access to the Territory of French Polynesia by French authorities regardless of the reason.
• Tahiti Cruise and Vacation cannot be held responsible for missed flights due to the absence of a passenger at the check-in counter at the time requested.

10. Limitation of responsibility of Tahiti Cruise and Vacation

Tahiti Cruise and Vacation and its service providers cannot be held responsible in the case of accidents, delays, or expenses due to: illness, robbery, strike, technical problems, quarantine, wars, weather conditions, and in general all expenses due to schedule changes or service changes or anything else outside of their control.

11. License of Tahiti Cruise and Vacation

Tahiti Cruise and Vacation is a travel agency registered by the Service of Tourism under the license number 0012VP/02/08/05 issued by the French Polynesian Ministry of Tourism.

12. Resolution of disputes

Any lawsuit or dispute will be treated by the Justice Court of Papeete Tahiti.
